I have a special relationship with pancakes. My kids just love them, making them our favourite. If we don't have sandwiches in our house, we have pancakes or flapjack or waffles. We have them savoury or Sweet.

1 1/2 Cupscake flour
2 tbssugar
2 tspbaking powder
2 tspPoppy seeds
2 tspbaking powder
1/2 tspsalt
1 cupmilk
2large eggs
1/4 cupmelted butter
Topping
2 tbsyoghurt
1clemengold sliced/ lemon
3 tspicing sugar
1 tspfresh lemon juice

Steps

In a large mixing bowl, sift together flour, poppy seeds, sugar baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

Whisk in milk, eggs, and melted butter just until combined.

Preheat a non stick pan over medium-high heat.

Scoop 1/4 cup of pancake batter onto pan. Let pancakes cook until bubbles form before flipping.

Cook other side until golden brown.

Put the clemengold slices in a pan and Pour half a cup of water and 2 tbs sugar and boil for 20 minutes.

In a small bowl combine icing sugar and lemon juice and stir until glossy

Layer the pancakes with yoghurt and put a lime ontop and Pour the lemon icing gloss and enjoy warm.

For kids version add rainbow vermicelli and top with their favourite ice cream.
