Firstly in a big mixing bowl take all purpose flour and add oil, salt and mix well add lukewarm water and knead stiff and tight dough.Cover and keep the dough aside for about 20 minutes to rest.

Now heat 2tsp oil in a pan and to it add asafoetida,Cumin seeds, ginger, chilli and peas.saute 1 mins now add finely mashed potatoes, salt,chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala dry mango powder stir and mix all ingredients well.

Stuffing is ready. Now make small to medium size balls from the dough.

Roll out the dough ball. Keeping it little thick. Then divide the pori into two equal halves and lift one part in your hand.

Apply some water on the edges and fold giving it a cone shape. Stuff the cone with potatoes filling. Give a small fold at the back and apply some water on the edges.

Bring both the ends together an stick well. keep the shape correct and likewise prepare all the samosas.

Heat the oil kadhai or wok deep fry the samosas on a medium flame till they turn golden brown in colour from both sides. Drain out the fried samosas on the kitchen paper to remove excess oil.

Serve hot with green chutney.
