Labanga latika is a north Indian mithai stuffed with kheer,deep fried and soaked in the sugar syrup.Try this easy to make mithai on the occasion of holi and other festivals with your family.
Steps

In a bowl add the flour, salt,refined oil and water. Mix it and make it into a dough.

Keep it aside and let it rest for 15 mins.

In a sauce pan add sugar, water and cardamom and boil it till it turns into a thick sugar syrup.

Now add the khowa kheer and sugar and mix it.

Now take the dough and divide it into equal pieces.

Roll out each pieces of the dough int round shape.

Now add the stuffing in the middle and fold the sides and put a colve in each one.

In a pan heat the refined oil and deep fry the labanga latika in low flame.

After frying let it cool and then soak it into the sugar syrup.

After soaking,garnish it with khowa kheer and the labanga latika is ready.
