Steps

Soak the rice for 15 minutes.

Cut the onions, carrot and mint leaves.

In a pan heat the ghee and deep fry some onions and keep aside.

Again in a pan heat ghee add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, star anise, cinnamon stick, cardamom, cloves and bay leaves, when splutter add onions and carrots and saute.

Add rice and salt mix it well

Now add finely chopped mint leaves mix it well and then add water
- 7
Close the lid cook in high flame when boiled cook in low flame after 10 minutes off the gas and garnish with fried onions, serve hot.
