  • 1 cupbrown lentils
  • 3 1/2 cupswater
  • 1 large onions, cut into small pieces
  • salt coarse
  • 1 teaspooncumin
  • 2 1/2 tablespoonsolive oil

Steps

40 mins
  1. 1

    Fry the sliced onion in oil, medium fire for 5 mins

  2. 2

    Boil the lentils in water and salt for 30-40mins

  3. 3

    Add the onion to the lentils, add the cumin, and let cook for another 5 mins

  4. 4

    Serve with the bread croutons
