Wash & soak the rice for 20 minutes. Wash the raw chicken properly with fresh water 2 -3 times.

Heat 2-3 tbsp of oil in a karahi.when it heatsup,add bay leaf,when it becomes black. Add chopped onions,ginger l Cook on low flame till they become brownthen add red chilli powder,turmeric powder,salt,saute for a second & add chopped tomatoes.

Cook till tomatoes becomes smooth then add raw chicken & mix well.

No need to add water,cook till oil spreads from corners. Now add 6 glasses of water.

Drain water from the soaked rice & add these rice & garam masala to the cooked half chicken gravy.Mix well & cover it with the plate.

Slow down the flame & cook for 20 minutes.

After 20 minutes switch off the flame & garnish with coriander leaves.

Serve hot with curd.
