Pour 1 1/2 cups of milk into a saucepan. In a separate bowl, mix the remaining 1/2 cup of milk with the cornstarch until smooth with no lumps, then add this mixture to the milk in the saucepan.

Add the remaining ingredients.

Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens slightly. When it starts to bubble gently, remove from heat.

Serve immediately and sprinkle with cinnamon to taste.
