Microwave Cake Recipe 2
This recipe was inspired by a chef on this site named Mohamedou Maison, who asked me about my microwave chocolate cake recipe. She liked it but wanted to make it without cocoa, and it didn’t work out for her because the recipe is different with and without cocoa. This cake isn’t like regular cake, so I agreed to try a tweak to the recipe. If it worked, I’d share it; if not, we’d stick to the chocolate version. After adding and removing some ingredients, I was able to make it, and it turned out super soft and fluffy—just like cotton! I hope you enjoy it, and thank you! 😃👌🏻

Combine the dry ingredients in a bowl and mix until well blended. Add the egg, milk, and vanilla extract (if using liquid vanilla). Using a hand whisk, beat everything together in one direction until the batter is smooth and well combined.

Microwave for 2 minutes and 30 seconds, then remove and let cool slightly.

Gently remove the cake from the bowl and place it on a serving plate.

Decorate as desired or enjoy plain (I made one in a different mold and decorated it, and left the other plain).
