Barbecue Spare Ribs
I love when the flavours penetrate the meat. The barbeque sauce can be tasted right to the bone.

Season the ribs with salt and pepper and drizzle some oil over the meat. Leave for at least 2 hours.

At least one hour before cooking, lightly coat the ribs in barbeque sauce and leave to marinate at room tempetature.

Preheat oven to 150°C. Place ribs on a baking tray and roast for an hour turning once.

After an hour, turn oven up to 200°C and coat ribs with the barbeque sauce every 10-15 minutes, turning to make sure each rib is thoroughly coated for 45 mins or until the meat items tender. Alternatively, you can cook on a barbeque grill, coating and turning frequently.
