Ingredients

  1. 1 cupAll purpose flour
  2. 1/2 cupPowdered brown sugar
  3. 1/2 cupbutter (room temp)
  4. 1/4 tspbaking powder
  5. 1/8 tspbaking soda
  6. 1/4 tspSalt
  7. 2 TbspHoney
  8. 1/2 cupYoghurt
  9. 1Egg
  10. 8-10Almond slivers
  11. Spices:
  12. 1/4 tspNutmeg powder
  13. 1/2 tbspCinnamon powder
  14. 1/4 tspClove powder
  15. 1 tspDry ginger powder or sonth
  16. 5green cardamom crushed to powder

Steps

  1. 1

    In a bowl mix all the dry masala except sugar.In another bowl cream butter and sugar using electronic hand mixer.In this add the egg and keep whisking.

    Next to add curd and honey whisk well.Now add the flour mix in small batches,whisk the batter until smooth.Pour the batter into the cake pan.Smooth the top with the help of spatula.

    Sprinkle the almond sliver on top.Bake fr 30 min on 170 degree.
