Ingredients

  • 1/1/2 cup besan (gram flour)
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tbspoil
  • 1/2 tspturmeric
  • 1 tspgreen chilli paste
  • 2 tspginger paste
  • 1 tsp eachsalt,sugar
  • 1/4 tspbaking soda
  • 1/1/2 tsp eno fruit salt
  • 2 tsplemon juice
  • Tempering
  • 2 tbsoil
  • 1 tspmustard seed
  • 2-3green chilli cut in to long pieces
  • 1/4 cup or less as per ur tastewhite vinegar or lemon juice
  • 3/4 cupwater
  • 1 tbssugar
  • as requiredCoriander leaves little

Steps

  1. 1

    Grease flat dish with oil and keep aside mix gram flour, water, oil, turmeric salt sugar, and chilli ginger paste and water to make lump free smooth batter

    Add eno and baking soda in to the batter and pour lemon juice and immediately mix well and pour in a flat dish and microwave uncovered for 6 minutes. (I use half measurement of this recipe and microwave for 3 minutes)

  3. 3

    Temper :heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds when crackle add green chilli saute add water sugar and vinegar instead of vinegar I used half lemon juice pour on ready dhokla and keep it for half an hour to absorb it garnish with coriander leaves and enjoy yummy easy dokhla as a light snacks.
