Ingredients

  • 1 poundground beef
  • 1large yellow onion diced
  • 1green bell pepper diced
  • 2 clovesgarlic minced
  • 1 1/2 cupswater
  • 15 ouncecan tomato sauce
  • 14.5 ouncecan diced tomatoes (I used the fire roasted flavor)
  • 4 teaspoonsItalian seasoning
  • 1 1/2 tablespoonsWorcestershire Sauce
  • 1 tablespoonhot sauce
  • 1 teaspoongarlic powder
  • 1 cupelbow macaroni uncooked
  • 1 1/2 teaspoonssalt (more if needed)
  • 1/2 teaspoonblack pepper (more if needed)

Steps

  1. 1

    In large dutch oven over medium heat brown beef, drain excess grease if needed. Add onion and bell pepper and continue to cook while stirring, until tender, about 5 minutes.

  2. 2

    Add all remaining ingredients except macaroni. Cover with lid and simmer 20 minutes.

  3. 3

    Stir in macaroni, cover with lid and simmer another 20 minutes until pasta is tender.

  4. 4

    Remove from heat let stand 5-10 minutes before serving.
