Wash and soak daal for half hour, transfer to cooker add 2 cup water, tomato and cook for 4 whistle.Cool it completely,open cooker peel skin of tomatoes and blend it properly.

Add peanut, dry dates, turmeric powder, Jaggery, chilli ginger paste,red chilli powder,coriander powder and salt,boil it properly. Add lemon juice.

Heat oil in tempering pan add fenugreek seeds when splutter add mustard seeds when splutter add whole dry red chillies and asafoetida remove from heat and pour on daal. Garnish with coriander leaves.
