Melt the butter.

Add the chopped onion, season with salt, and sauté.

Add the flour. Stir immediately so it absorbs the butter.

Pour in the cold milk and stir over low heat until it boils and thickens. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Season with nutmeg. Adjust salt and pepper to taste.

Add the grated cheese and mix well.

Add the chopped Swiss chard. Mix and set aside.

Shape the tartlets or empanadas as you like. Place them on a baking sheet.

Fill them and add a cube of mozzarella cheese to each.

Bake at 430°F (220°C) for about 12 to 15 minutes.
