After trying many orange cake recipes and experimenting with different combinations, I can finally say this is my ultimate recipe! It's perfect for those Sunday afternoons when you wake up from a nap craving something sweet. And if you enjoy it with a glass of milk, it's even better!

After trying many orange cake recipes and experimenting with different combinations, I can finally say this is my ultimate recipe! It's perfect for those Sunday afternoons when you wake up from a nap craving something sweet. And if you enjoy it with a glass of milk, it's even better!

Gather and measure all the ingredients to save time later. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).

Wash the orange thoroughly and cut it, peel and all, into small pieces.

Place the orange in a blender, add the olive oil and Greek yogurts, and blend on high for about 3 minutes until smooth. Strain the mixture to remove any solids.

In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and mix with the sugar. Add the blended orange mixture to this bowl.

Add the flour and baking powder all at once, then beat well for a few minutes until the batter is smooth and free of lumps. Grease and flour the cake pan before pouring in the batter to prevent sticking and make it easier to remove later.

Stir in the chocolate chips and mix to distribute them evenly throughout the batter. Bake at 350°F (180°C) for 50-60 minutes. If the top browns too quickly before the cake is done, cover it with aluminum foil until fully baked.

While the cake is baking, prepare the topping. Place the chocolate chips in a saucepan and melt them gently using a double boiler over low heat until smooth and fluid.

When the cake is done, check doneness by inserting a toothpick into the center; it should come out clean. If so, remove the cake from the pan, let it cool slightly, then pour the melted chocolate over the top. Enjoy with your family!
