Ingredients

3 servings
  1. 300 gmsDosa batter
  2. 200 gramsMoringa leaves
  3. 1 handfulCurry leaves
  4. 5 tspSesame seeds
  5. 1/2 tsp Hing powder
  6. as requiredCrystal salt
  7. 5Red chillies
  8. 1Finely chopped onion
  9. 1Finely chopped tomato
  10. 1/2 fistfulCoriander leaves

Steps

  1. 1

    Sun dry Moringa branches for 2 hrs. Then dry the Moringa leaves in the shade for 12 hrs.

  2. 2

    After 12 hrs dry roast Moringa leaves for 5 minutes and transfer it into a plate.

  3. 3

    Next dry roast curry leaves,sesame seeds, red chillies, hing powder and crystal salt for 5 minutes and transfer it into the plate. Cool it for 30 minutes and grind it in the mixie jar.

    Transfer this powder into an air tight container.

  5. 5

    This powder is a healthy side dish for idli and dosa.

  6. 6

    Prepare uthappam in the mini uthappam pan.

  7. 7

    Sprinkle finely chopped onion, tomato, coriander leaves and Moringa leaves Podi on the uthappam.

  8. 8

    Now healthy Moringa leaves Podi uthappam can be served with Chutney or sambhar.
