Vanilla Cake

Preheat your oven to 180 degrees celsius or a medium heat. Prepare your baking tin and set aside.

In a bowl mix the sugar and margarine. Cream the two for 5 to 8 minutes until white. Add the vanilla extract & mix well.

Whisk the egg whites (adding 1 by 1) in a bowl till white & fluffy & add to the creamed mixture folding in slowly.

Sift flour + baking powder together. While alternating with the milk, add the flour to the creamed mixture. Start and end with the flour for best results.

Pour the batter into the cake pan and place in the oven middle rack to bake.
Bake for 20 minutes to 30minutes, or until a knife inserted comes out clean. - 6
Cool for about 5mins on the tin then remove cake from pan and set on a cooling rack. Cool completely and serve plain or use your frosting of choice. (I used cream to frost a Baby Shark themed Cake)
