Ingredients

  1. 500 gmchicken
  2. 1lemon juice
  3. 2 tablespoonyogurt
  4. 2green chillies chopped
  5. 1 teaspoonginger paste
  6. 1 teaspoongarlic paste
  7. 1medium sized onion paste
  8. 2 tablespoonblack pepper powder
  9. 4green cardamom
  10. 2cloves
  11. 1 teaspoongaram masala powder
  12. 1 tablespoonbutter
  13. to tasteSalt
  14. to tasteSugar
  15. as neededVegetable oil

Cooking Instructions

    Marinate the chicken with the lemon juice, ginger paste, garlic paste, half of the black pepper and salt.

    Heat some vegetable oil, add cloves and green cardamom, and fry the chicken pieces by keeping it covered for 15mins or till the chicken pieces are brown in colour.

    Add the onion paste and fry them well. Add the chopped green chillies.

    Mix them very well till the oil separates.

    Add some water for the gravy.

    Mix them very well and add the rest of the black pepper powder, salt if required for the gravy and sugar to balance the salt.

    Add garam masala powder and mix them well.

    After the gravy gets a desired consistency, add the butter.

    Mix them well and remove it from the flame.

  10. 10

    Serve hot.
