Steps
- 1
In a bowl take flour, baking powder, baking soda & salt and mix well. Sieve it twice and keep aside.
- 2
In another bowl whisk curd with refined oil. Then add powdered sugar and beat well to get a condensed milk consistency.
- 3
Now gradually add vanilla essence, milk powder and sieved flour into the mixture and mix well. Make sure not to over mix. Now add little amount of milk and bring it to a cake batter consistency (neither thick nor very thin). Take a baking tin and put a butter paper on the base. Pour the cake batter into the tin and spread it evenly. Chopped dry fruits or tooth fruity can also be added to the batter.
- 4
Now take a kadhai. Add salt to the base, put a tripod stand on the salt. Place a plate over it. Cover and preheat for 10 minutes. After ten minutes remove the lid and place the tin on the plate, cover it well and cook for 40 to 45 minutes. Remove the lid after 40 minutes and insert a toothpick into the cake. If it comes clean, your cake is ready. Else cook it little more.
- 5
Let it cool then remove the tin from kadhai and take the cake out. Coat it with children ganache or syrup and decorate it as per your wish. This cake is really very healthy for everyone. And at the same time spongy and tasty too.
