Ingredients

  • 1 cupMushroom
  • 1 cupCoconutmilk
  • 1/4 spoonTurmeric powder
  • 1 tablespoonChilli powder
  • 1 tablespoonCoriander powder
  • 1/2 tablespoonCrushed pepper
  • 1 tablespoonSalt
  • 1Onion chopped
  • 2Green chilli Slitted
  • 1 tablespoonTomatoes chopped
  • 1/4 cupTomato puree (optional)
  • 1 tablespoonMustardseeds
  • As neededOil

Steps

  1. 1

    In a kadai combine mushroom coconut milk masala powders salt, and cook...

  2. 2

    Close and cook. Stir in between. Cook till coconut milk gets evapourate completely.

  3. 3

    On another kadai heat oil splutter with some mustard seeds, add green chilli, add onion ginger garlic paste and saute well.

  4. 4

    Add tomato puree(optional) saute well. To bring this into exact kerala taste, can add small coconut pieces and curry leaves at this stage....

  5. 5

    Add the coocked mushroom masala mix and gently mix all together... close and cook for 2 minutes. Switch off flame. Add 1/2 spoon of coconut oil on to it...

  6. 6

    It's really really yummu.. garnish with some chopped tomatoes... serve hot with chapathi. Rice.......
