  • 2 Tablespoonsred currant jelly
  • 1/2 teaspoongrated lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoonfresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoondillweed
  • 1/2 teaspoonsalt
  • 1/4 teaspoonpepper
  • 1 poundflank steak

    Combine all the ingredients in a small bowl and brush the mixture on the flank steak.

  2. 2

    Preheat the broiler. Broil the flank steak 4 to 6 inches from the heat for 4 to 5 minutes per side. Let stand for 10 minutes, then thinly slice across the grain.
