For making daliya from whole wheat - sprinkle water on wheat and keep it for 15-20 minutes.

Wash rice and moong dal and soak in water.

Then crush it roughly in mixer. Seive it to separate it's skin

Soak this for 1/2 in water

Heat 4 cups water when it starts boiling add daliya in it.. After 5 minutes add rice and moong dal in it cook it for 15-20 minutes... Add milk, salt cardamom pwder in it. Mix it well and cook it for more 10 minutes on low flame.

When mixture become thicker add grated coconut, sliced cashews and almonds.

Serve hot with ghee, sugar, Jaggery and Kadhi.

If you are using ready wheat daliya -wash daliya, rice and moong dal and strain it's water.

Heat ghee in pressure cooker roast daliya,rice and dal for 2-3 minutes. Add 4 cups water in it and cook on full flame till one whistle. Then cook for 15 minutes on low flame.

Off the flame, when pressure releases open the cooker and add milk, sugar, cardamom powder,salt in it mix it well. Cook it for 10 minutes on low flame.

When mixture become thicker add grated coconut, sliced cashews and almonds.

Serve with Kadhi.
