Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 1 CupMaida
  2. 2Chopped Onion
  3. 1Boiled Potato
  4. 1 tbsp Ginger, Garlic and green chilli Paste
  5. 1/2 tea spoondry mango powder
  6. 1/2 tea spoonsugar
  7. 1/2 tea spoongaram masala powder
  8. 1/2 tea spoonred chilli powder
  9. 2 tbsp Roasted Besan
  10. 1 pinchhing
  11. 1 tablespooncoriander seeds
  12. 1/2 teaspooncumin seeds
  13. to tastesalt
  14. as neededOil for frying
  15. 1/2 cupwater

Steps

  1. 1

    Take a bowl and add Maida, salt and 2 Tb. Spoon. Oil. Mix it. Now add water. Knead this into a stiff dough.

    Heat 1Tb. Spoon. oil In Pan.Add jeera, hing, coriander seeds, and ginger garlic green chilies paste. Saute well.

  3. 3

    Now add chopped Onion.Add sugar and salt.

  4. 4

    When onions turn slightly brown, add red chilli powder, mashed potatoes, dried mango powder, gram flour, sugar and garam masala powder to this mixture.

  5. 5

    When oil separates in the pan, take it off the flame and let it cool.

  6. 6

    Dived dough in equal parts and make small dough balls.

  7. 7

    Use a rolling pin flatten the balls, then add the stuffing and seal the corners.

  8. 8

    Heat oil in pan for frying.Add kachoris and fry them until they turn golden-brown in colour.

  9. 9

    Serve these hot with onion, tamarind and green chutney.
