Peel the yam, rinse and cook with some salt. When soft drain the water and set aside. Add pepper,onion and garlic in a mortar and pound. When smooth add maggi,pinch of salt teaspoon mixed spices. Mix well then add the yam and pound till very smooth transfer to a bowl and add chopped parsley. Mix well. Then make small balls. After making the balls use both hands to press it down, to make it flat,but round. Arrange on a tray.

In a bowl add flour (depending on the quantity of the yam nuggets you have).add seasoning cubes and some black pepper and stir. In a separate bowl crack eggs and beat. In another bowl pour some golden morn and some chopped parsley and stir. Now start by dipping the yam in the flour then beaten eggs then in the golden morn. Mix well in the golden morn then deep fry in hot oil. Drain in a paper towel and serve while still hot. You can serve with any dip of your choice.

I served mine with mayo ketchup dip. Arrange them on a skewer,2 on each. Enjoy!
