Cut out the quantity of yam you wish to prepare, then slice and peel off the back, once that is done you will now cut into sizeable rectangle, not too big and not too small. Put in a pot half of water and preheat to boil, add pinch of salt. Boil for about 7 -10 minutes.

Break two eggs add a pinch of salt spices and seasoning, then whisk and set aside.

In another bowl add flour, garlic and seasoning, now take the yam preferably one at a time and dredge them first in the egg mix, then the flour mix, now preheat some oil in a pan and fry till golden brown, remove from heat and serve with desired sauce. It tastes just as good.
