Is not ukwa season,a friend got it from her village so it came dry.I have to wash with warm water very well before cooking.
This is one of my best local food and i enjoyed it alot.

2cooking spoon Palmoil
3 cupsUkwa
Salt
4 piecesfresh red pepper
Small sized dry fish

Rinse and pour the ukwa in a boiling pot,add pinch of potash allow to cook for 40minutes or untill well cooked.

Sieve out the remaining water when the ukwa is well cooked.Pour in palmoil inbthe cooked ukwa,blended fresh red pepper,salt and mix together.

Serve with well cleaned dry fish.
