Ingredients

  1. 1 1/2 cupspowdered milk (about 180 grams)
  2. 5 cupswater (about 1.2 liters)
  3. 1 cupsemolina (about 160 grams)
  4. 1 canplain cream (such as table cream, about 7 ounces/200 grams)
  5. Chopped pistachios for garnish
  6. Simple syrup for serving

Steps

  1. 1

    Mix the powdered milk, water, and semolina together in a saucepan while cold.

  2. 2

    Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly, until it thickens and becomes firm.

  3. 3

    Pour the mixture into a serving dish. Once it cools, spread the cream evenly on top and refrigerate.

  4. 4

    Garnish with chopped pistachios and serve with simple syrup. Enjoy!
