Mix the flour and salt in a bowl.

Add oil to the dry ingredients and mix until it becomes crumbly. Add water to the mixture and knead to form a dough. Knead till the dough softens and let it rest for 30 minutes.

Divide the dough into small balls. Roll each ball and apply a half tablespoon oil then fold the rolled dough. Repeat this step with all the balls.

Roll the folded dough and precook both sides....add a half tablespoon of oil to the pre- cooked chapati and fry both sides.

The chapati is ready to serve.
