Roasted Garlic Butter Makhanas

Ingredients

  1. 200 gmsmakhana
  2. 2 tbspbutter
  3. 8-10garlic cloves finely chopped
  4. 1/2 tspturmeric
  5. 1 tsporegano
  6. 1 tspchilli flakes
  7. 1 tspchaat masala
  8. 1.5 tspdry garlic powder
  9. as per tasteSalt
  10. 1/2 tspblack pepper powder

Cooking Instructions

    In a wide non stick pan, put butter and let it melt.

  2. 2

    Add finely chopped garlic and sauté for a minute.

  3. 3

    Add makhanas and roast on low to medium heat for 10-12 minutes or till they turn crispy. Keep stirring so that makhana gets roasted evenly.

    Add all the dry masalas mentioned above and continue roasting for another 2 minutes till the masalas get incorporated well.

  5. 5

    Switch off the flame and let it cool. Store in a air tight container. Enjoy the crunchy garlicky flavoured makhanas with a hot cup of tea or coffee.
