Love working with filo pastry this batch makes exactly 14 triangles

Ingredients

  1. 1 packagedefrosted filo pastry
  2. 500 gground beef
  3. 500 gpasatta sauce
  4. 1medium onion finely diced
  5. 1 tspgarlic powder
  6. 2 tsppaprika powder
  7. 11/2 tspdried oregano
  8. 3 tspcayanne pepper
  9. 1 tbsphot chilli powder(or to ur own tastes)
  10. to tastesalt and pepper
  11. 2 tbspmelted butter for filo triangles

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Brown beef and onion, drain any fat

  2. 2

    Add spices passata and herbs mix well

  3. 3

    Defrost filo pastry as instructed

  4. 4

    Cook beef mixture for 15 mintues to thicken sauce careful not to burn it, check seasoning then allow to cool totally

  5. 5

    Slice pastry in half to create 14 strips add heap tbsp of beef mixture to the lower corner and fold to over to the opposite corner

  6. 6

    Fold the bottom right corner to the upper left corner

  7. 7

    Fold the bottom left corner over to the to the top right corner completing the fold

  8. 8

    Continue until u reach the end coat pastry with melted butter close over and brush top with butter place on a baking sheet put in 180C/350F for 10 miuntes or until browned and crispy
