1 cuppowdered sugar
200 gmsbutter softened to room temperature
2and 1/4 cup of flour
1 teaspoonvanilla extract
1egg (room temperature)
1/3 cupjam

Gently mix the room temperature butter and powdered Sugar with a wooden spoon or whisk until nice and creamy

Next add in the egg, vanilla essence. Also add in the flour. Mix well until it forms a smooth dough which will be pale yellow in color

Take a small amount of dough (around a teaspoon) and roll into ball shape. Arrange on tray lined with baking sheet and make a small indent in the center of ball with thumb. Fill a little jam in the indent.

Bake at 180C for 20-25 minutes or until firm and slightly golden.
