Ingredients

8 servings

2 tbspbrown suger
1 cupsuger
2 cupwater
Pinchsalt
2 tbspmaple extract
1/2 cupbullet rye whiskey

Steps

Put water and suger over a high heat and stir until water is clear approx 2-5 mins

Add brown suger to give color and mix in to simple syrup
3

Let reduce and boil while stirring to insure it does not burn
4

After the syrup thickens add maple extra and mix well
5

After reducing and allowing to get to the constancy you desire let the syrup cool for 15 mins and fold in whiskey to taste
