Prepare cake according to directions on package.

Tear cake into bite size. Place in 13x9 pan.

In mixing bowl, combine pudding mix, milk, & sour cream. Beat until thickened, about 2 minutes. Spread over cake.

If desired, can spread your favorite flavor of pie filling over top.

Chill until serving time.
