Coriander Chutney without coconut

Heat oil in kadai add urad dal roast until it changes colour and transfer this to plate. In same kadai add channa dal and roast nicely and transfer this to plate.

Add chilli and saute nicely and transfer this too. In same kadai add coriander leaves and chopped ginger and saute for a minute and transfer this to plate

Cool down this completely and grind to smooth paste with tamarind, salt and 2 tbsp of water. Transfer this to bowl.

Heat small kadai add mustard, urad dal. Once mustard crackled add red chilli and curry leaves. Pour this over the chutney and serve with idli or dosa.
