Fresh homemade jam tastes great,but it tastes more if there are no preservatives.This delicious jam is perfect for spreading on toast,pancakes,tarts.
Steps

Chop the pineapple into medium size pieces and add in mixer grinder.Grind pineapple until puree.

Add pineapple puree into preheated pan.

Add sugar,mix well and simmer on medium low flame.Stir continuously until sugar dissolved properly.

At first there will be a foam on top.

Keep stirring till puree is turning thick.

Check the consistency by dropping with spatula,if looks runny simmer again.

Once done add lemon juice,nutmeg powder and stir for 2-3 minutes.

Pineapple jam is ready,keep aside to cool down.
