Moong dal pakoda

In a large bowl soak moong dal for 5 hours.

Drain off the water and blend to smooth paste adding water.

Transfer the prepared moong dal batter into bowl.

Add rice flour for make crispy vada.

Add onion, jeera and salt. mix well.

Further add baking soda and give a good mix.

Now dip your hand in water, and start dropping them one by one to hot oil.

Keep the flame in lower to medium stir occasionally. also fry the vada till they turn golden brown.

Drain off the vada on to plate.

Now.... serve moong dal vada with tomato sauce.
