Ingredients

15 to 20 minute
4 to 5 servings
  • 1 cupMoong Dal
  • 3garlic cloves chopped
  • 1 pinchhing powder
  • 1 teaspoonjeera
  • 1tomato nicely dice
  • 1 teaspoonmeethi
  • 2 teaspoonsoil
  • to tasteSalt
  • 2onions finely chopped

Steps

15 to 20 minute
  1. 1

    Wash dal thoroughly with water.

  2. 2

    Add onions, garlic cloves, hing powder, jeera, and meethi stir till golden brown.

  3. 3

    Together with the above ingredients add tomato. Wait until the tomato is soft.

  4. 4

    Add dal with water and salt to taste.

  5. 5

    Wait for the pressure cooker to cool down open the lid and add coriander leaves that are finely chopped served hot with rice.
