Red sauce pasta

In a large vessel cook penned pasta with 2cups of water, some salt and oil.

Cook for 10 minutes till they are soft.

Now drain the pasta and keep aside.

Boil tomatoes and whole chilli for 5 minutes and blend to smooth puree.

In a pan heat butter.

Add garlic and onion, saute till they turn light pinkish.

Add tomato puree and saute for 5 minutes.

Also add mixed herbs, chilli flakes, black pepper powder, salt, tomato ketchup and mix well.

Add boiled pasta, cover and cook for 5 minutes.

Mix gently.

Serve red sauce pasta hot, topped with cheese.
