Peel the carrots and grate it.

In a non stick pan take mava cook till ghee separates. Then take it out into a bowl and keep it aside.

In the same pan take grated carrots and cook for 5 minutes.

Add milk and stir it. Cook till all the milk absorbed in carrots.

Add sugar and cook till it leaves the sides of a pan.

Add mava and cook for another 5 minutes.

Add cardamom powder, ghee and chopped almonds. Cook for 1 minute and switch off the flame. Halwa is ready.
