Soak urad dal 30 minutes

Drain water grind it into a grinder

Add spices, green chilli, garlic paste,chopped onion

Mix all ingredients properly and make a thick paste beat it approximately 5 minutes to make smooth consistency

Add baking powder now make small balls over a palm make a small whole between with the help of finger

In a kadai add oil when properly hot add vada fry it both sides till golden brown

Remove it on a paper plate

Enjoy it with sambhar or coconut chutney
