Ingredients

30 minutes
6 servings
  1. 1 cupsemolina
  2. 1/4 cupcurd
  3. 1/2 tspbaking soda
  4. 3/4 cupwater
  5. to tasteSalt
  6. 1/4 cupfinely chopped onion
  7. 1/4 cupgrated carrot
  8. 1/4 cupfinely chopped tomato
  9. 1/4 cupfinely chopped capsicum
  10. 2green chillies finely chopped
  11. 2-3 tbspfinely chopped coriander
  12. 4 tbspoil

Cooking Instructions

    Firstly, take semolina, curd, water and salt in a mixing bowl. Mix well, cover and keep it aside for 15 minutes.

    Now in another mixing bowl take onion, carrot, tomato, capsicum, green chilli, coriander and salt. Mix well and keep aside.

    After 15 minutes, add baking soda to the batter. Give it a quick mix. (you can add more water if required)

    Heat dosa tawa on medium flame. Spread a few drops of oil.
    Now spread a ladleful of uttapam batter in circular motion. Uttapam should be thick.

    Further spread the topping evenly on uttapam and press gently.

    Add oil on the sides of uttapam, cover and cook on low flame.

  7. 7

    Flip it after 2 minutes and again cook from the other side for 1-2 minutes.

    Take out in a plate and serve hot with your choice of chutney or sambhar.
