Ingredients

15-20 mins
2-3 servings
  1. 1 Cupsooji/rava/semolina
  2. 2small potatoes finely chopped
  3. 2 Cupsour buttermilk
  4. 2small onions finely chopped
  5. 2 small potatoes finely chopped
  6. 1/2 cup green peas (can add any vegetables available at home)
  7. 2 tsp spilt peanuts
  8. handful chopped coriander
  9. Salt as per taste

Cooking Instructions

15-20 mins

    Take a bowl and mix sooji with buttermilk and then add salt. The consistency of batter should neither be thick nor thin.

    Cover it with lid and keep aside for 15 minutes.

    Heat a non-stick tawa and keep the flame on medium and grease it slightly.

    Now check the sooji batter and add a little water if batter is thick.

  5. 5

    Spread the batter on tawa, please kept it thick.

  6. 6

    Now add chopped vegetables on the batter spread on tawa and grease it slightly with oil.

  7. 7

    Now turn uttapam upside down and roast it from other side too.

    Now transfer the uttapam to the plate and serve it with sambhar and chutney.
