Cooking Instructions

At first we are going to boil the daal. Take a pressure cooker add required dal then add required water then and one teaspoon of turmeric and one teaspoon of salt. Wait for 5 to 6 whistles.

Now take a pan heat 3 tablespoon of mustard oil once it gets heated and jeera, two bay leaves, 1 red chilli. Saute for a minute.

Add chopped onions fry for few minutes then and ginger garlic paste then add asafoetida add chopped tomato. Cook it well once the oil gets separated then add salt and sugar to taste. Add a pinch of turmeric. Cook it well for another few minutes. When the entire masala gets cooked pour the daal.

U can also add water of it's required. Wait till the daal get cooked.

Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
