Ingredients

  1. Bbq masala :-
  2. 6whole round chillies
  3. 1 tbspcumin seeds
  4. 8balls of kabbabchini
  5. 1/2badyaan ka phool
  6. 1 tbspcoriander seeds
  7. 7cloves
  8. 1black cardamom
  9. Marination Masala :-
  10. 500 gmChicken pieces
  11. 1 tbspBBQ masala
  12. 1 tspyellow food colour
  13. 1 tspSalt
  14. 1 tspred chilli powder
  15. 1/4 tspturmeric
  16. 1/2 tbspginger garlic paste
  17. 1 tbspyogurt
  18. 1 tbsplemon juice
  19. Biryani masala :-
  20. 1/2 cupoil
  21. 1onion sliced
  22. 1tomato slices
  23. 2bay leaves
  24. 3green cardamoms
  25. 1 tbspginger garlic paste
  26. 1cinnamon stick
  27. 1 tspsalt
  28. 1 tspred chilli powder
  29. 1/2 tspturmeric
  30. 1 tspgaram masala powder
  31. 1/2 cuppodina leaves
  32. 1/2 cupcoriander leaves
  33. 4-5green chillies
  34. 1/2 cupfried onions
  35. 1/2 cupyogurt
  36. 1/4 tspyellow food colour
  37. 2 cupsboiled rice

Cooking Instructions

    Prepare BBQ masala by putting all the ingredients under the BBQ masala heading into a grinder and grind coarsely. Set aside

    Now marinate the chicken with all the ingredients listed under marination heading including 1 tbsp of the BBQ masala prepared earlier. Marinate this for 30 minutes.

    Drizzle some oil in a pan and cook the marinated chicken until tender. Give it coal smoke. Set aside

    Prepare masala by putting oil in a pot, then add onions. Fry until golden. Add cardamoms cinnamon, green chilli and bay leaves and cook a bit..add ginger garlic paste and tomatoes and cook until tomatoes are soft. Add all the spices mentioned and the remaining BBQ masala as well that was grinded earlier. Add yogurt and cook until oil separates.

    Layer masala in the bottom..add mint and coriander then fried onions and then put boiled rice over it. Sprinkle some food colour and cover and simmer on low flame for 10 minutes.
