Southern delicacy! I added a bit of self rising cornmeal..... but if you like a lighter crisp follow recipe as is! 😉
Cooking Instructions

Slice green tomatoes thin or thick... whichever consistency you like. Add salt and pepper on both sides and set aside.

Break eggs and add milk to bowl. Add 2 tsp of seasoning salt. Salt and pepper and mix. Set aside.

To bag add flour and remainder of seasoning salt, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Mix together.

Add oil to pan to deep fry tomatoes. Turn stove to medium- high.

Add tomatoes to egg and then dredge into the flour. Add to oil and fry until golden. Remove and drain on paper towel.
