Cooking Instructions

Preheat oven to 425. Line a baking sheet with foil.

Season salmon with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Place on baking sheet.

In a small saucepan, heat honey and jalapeño over medium low heat until heated through.

Remove from heat and spoon about 1 tbsp of honey over each salmon fillet. Top with a lemon slice and jalapeños if desired.

Bake for 15-20 mins until salmon is flaky.

Bought wild sockeye salmon from trader Joe's (honestly not the best quality, but acceptable) and want to give "honey glazed salmon" a try. So I googled and read several recipes to get some ideas and came up my own version. Trader Joe's only has skin-on fresh salmon so this recipe is for skin-on version and I have some hard time to remove the skin myself. If you have skinless salmon, then cook both sides for 3 minutes instead. Anna Pun -
