An excellent addition to any Summertime BBQ or picnic!

I had this once at a pub and thought it was lush. So I tried to make it myself.

I wanted to try making this salad versus buying it for $8/plate. Much to my surprise this came out better!!!My kids love it raw cabbage and all!!!I add the chips to each plate so they don't get soggy. Also this recipe made so much, I had to mix it in my wok. Cut it down by 1/2 if necessary.

This is my basic classic salad, thats cheap , easy to make and last for a few days, and goes with any meal or can be a meal all on its own. My kids like to add chicken nuggets if we have them , easy to add chicken to or go vegetarian. This is one of my favorite salads ,good for any season of the year. Pizza and pasta goes well with this, I personally like it all on its own for dinner. This makes a lot . Enjoy 😉

I bought a salad in a shop once that contained quinoa and pomegranate and it tasted great, so decided to add all my favourite salad ingredients and make my own. The honey and lime dressing is a family favourite used often by my mother who is celiac. Lovely light dish that can accompany many things or as a meal of its own.

"Rübensalat" This is a recipe from Sachsen - Anhalt in Germany . They made up for the times when there was not much meat to bring colour and variety onto their tables with vegetables.
