Ingredients

  1. 2 tspoil
  2. 1/2 tspmustard seeds
  3. 1green chilli
  4. 5-6curry leaves
  5. 1 tspginger paste
  6. 1onion
  7. 1tomato
  8. 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  9. 1/2 tspgaram masala
  10. 1 tspsugar
  11. 4 slicesbread cut into pieces
  12. to tasteSalt
  13. 2 tspLemon juice
  14. as neededCoriander leaves for garnishing
  15. 2 tbspWater

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Add oil into a pan. Add mustard seeds, slit green chilli, curry leaves, ginger paste. Roast for a minute. Add chopped onion and saute for two minutes.

    Add tomatoes and sugar. Saute for a minute. Add turmeric powder and garam masala. Mix well. Add 2 tbsp water and cook for a minute.

    Add bread pieces, add salt to taste, lemon juice. Mix all ingredients well. Garnish with coriander leaves. Bread poha is ready to serve.
