I'm not Swedish, so I can't vouch for the Swedish-ness of these meatballs. I'm just a guy who tried his own take on an Ikea classic. Robert Gonzal -

Magnificent Meatballs Magnificent Meatballs
Making meatballs is far easier than many suspect, and today was a (thankfully) cooler day so I took the opportunity to use my oven (you can also pan fry or even grill, I recommend larger meatballs for grilling). With this recipe I usually make 1 tbs sized meatballs to use for spaghetti and meatballs. I use half right away and freeze the remaining half. StephieCanCook -
Swedish Meatballs and Gravy Swedish Meatballs and Gravy
IKEA recently published their meatball recipe, and this one is kinda sorta based on it, though again I have omitted all onions and garlic, and dispensed with baking the meatballs as directed. 🇸🇪 蛟龍Stormwyrm -
Swedish Meatballs and Egg Noodles in a Creamy Sauce Swedish Meatballs and Egg Noodles in a Creamy Sauce
This a sort of bastardized version of real Swedish meatballs. All beef meatballs are seasoned with lemon pepper, brown sugar, and allspice. The meatballs are browned and the pan deglazed with mushrooms, followed by stock, milk, and noodles for an all in pot meal. Lance Wilson -
Slow Cooker Italian Style Meatballs Slow Cooker Italian Style Meatballs
My family loves meatballs and this is such an easy way to make them on a busy weeknight. It also means we can serve it in many different ways...for instance my kids prefer spaghetti and meatballs and my husband prefers meatball subs. I like my meatballs and sauce over spaghetti squash. If you're not using a lean meat for this, then you might want to brown the meatballs under the broiler for a few minutes on each side first...this will allow you to drain a lot of the grease before adding the meatballs to the slow cooker. Swedish Meatballs (köttbullar) Swedish Meatballs (köttbullar)
On a recent trip to IKEA, my young daughter and I had lunch in their restaurant. My daughter practically inhaled her plate of meatballs, and this compelled me to try making my own (even though I was very tempted to just buy a bag of frozen meatballs from IKEA). Having never made them before, I went with a recipe by Alton Brown, but after reading lots of comments, I made a fair number of changes. Chris Gan -
