Ingredients

  • 0.5 kglean ground beef
  • 2eggs
  • 1 tspsalt
  • 1/4 cupbread crumbs
  • 1/2small onion diced
  • 2 cupswater
  • 2 envelopesbovril
  • 2 Tbspcornstarch
  • 1/4-1/3 cupwater

Steps

  1. 1

    Mix first 5 ingredients together and shapes into meatballs.

  2. 2

    Fry meatballs till cooked then drain any excess fat from pan.

  3. 3

    Add 2 cups water and bovril to pan and stir on medium heat.

  4. 4

    Mix cornstarch with 1/4 cup to 1/3 cup water to make a thin paste. Add to pan and stir constantly till gravy thickens.

  5. 5

    Turn heat to low and simmer for about 1 hour, stirring occasionally.

  6. 6

    Serve with mashed potatoes.
